Wow long time for no post

It has been a very eventful summer filled with good and bad. First I believe it was the hottest summer I have seen since the summer we built the addition onto our home which was about 1990. Jack and I can no longer take this heat like we used to. I am enjoying the Fall weather and getting a lot done. Today I made 10 quarts of applesauce. Jack and I just enjoyed a bowl of vanilla ice cream with hot applesauce. mmmmm well worth all the peeling. I actually sat in my rocking chair on the porch and pealed the apples given to me by my friends Kathy and Gary.
We were able to spend a lot of time with Conner this summer. He and Gramma and Mommy went to Alex Bay and went out to Boldt Castle. No I had not been there before. Looking at it through his eyes to made it all the more special. But his favorite part of the trip was the arcade and go carts. Michelle took him in one and they had a steering wheel for him so he thought he helped drive !! He is such a joy and blessing in all our lives I thank God every day for him.
