Have I told anyone lately how much I love my Grandson

It's Super Conner

Yes I love this little one so much. He stayed over night on Sunday night after Easter. He woke Grandpa up at 6am on Monday.Of course Jack would do anything Conner wanted him to. he is really easy to keep happy though and can get so serious at times. I would love to get inside that little mind and find out just what he is thinking ??? He loves having his Unky Jack here when he comes and was quite upset that Unky Jack went back to his apartment Sunday night.

Grandmas special thing is Pez and those darn little dispensers which Mommy and Daddy would rather he not eat. But what are Grandmas for.I found a batman set for Easter and waited until he was quite and asked him what he thought I brought for him. He screamed PEZ !!! I was the hero for 20 seconds then back to just that old Grandma who comes around wanting to kiss me all the time.

The weekend of March 28th off we went to Albany NY for a basketball tournament. I had never been to Albany before, and was excited for the trip. Jack's back was not well nor his knee so I did the driving. Down through Tupper Lake to Long Lake and Blue Mountain Lake to Indian Lake and them finally the curves stopped and we were on the Northway "87". To say it was a beautiful ride is an understatement. At this time of year you can see all the beautiful things you miss when all the foliage is out. Lakes and cottages and beautiful mountains. The Adirondacks are truly beautiful.
I packed a cooler and we ate sandwiches on the tailgate of the truck. Brandi thought this was terrible, but it brought me back to when I was younger and this was a common practice for our family. My Mom would always pack lunches and we would go on rides. We never knew where we would end up !! These are some of the fondest memories of my life as a child. We did this in the car and sometimes on snowmobiles. So cold needn't bother you. I had an incredible childhood. I still take rides when the world seems to be resting on my shoulders..It makes the world better. I have passed this love on to only one of my children "Jacky" he has been after me to go now that most of the snow has passed !!!
On to the tournament. Great games where played by all and Jacky got a couple 3 pointers. YEAH Jacky!! These games are always so much fun.. These special individuals bless my life in more ways that I can say. Thank you to them and all who work to make these possible.
